Gabe is a certified personal trainer and the Personal Training Coordinator. He supports trainers by driving client interest, organizing client intake and matching clients with trainers, helping design and schedule fitness programs, and providing educational and professional resources to the training team. He also works with clients of his own and leads by example, demonstrating the power of exercise programming and progression in helping customers reach their goals. He handles the design of much of the promotional material for fitness that appear around the center highlighting trainers and programs.
Gabe started at the Wellness Center in 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from the College of William and Mary, where he ran track for four years, and is an ACSM‑certified personal trainer. He has been training and coaching for five years, in both sports and gym settings.
Gabe loves feeling the increased enthusiasm and energy from his fellow trainers. Seeing them working out with their clients—or practicing what they preach with their own workouts at the Wellness Center—fills him with joy, especially when he feels he has helped facilitate that enthusiasm and success.
Gabe still competes in the sport of track and field (any workout you see him doing around the center is probably geared toward that), and he coaches track at Spotswood High School. He also enjoys cooking, experimenting with new dishes, and getting creative with oatmeal. Additionally, he loves the NFL and is an ardent Chicago Bears fan (but is always up for talking about any player or team).
He loves his coworkers and appreciates feeling like part of a true squad, something deeper than just a job. The sense of community is immediately palpable, even in his first year at the Wellness Center.
